How to Measure for Roller Blinds
Measuring for rollers is a simple process that requires only a few basic tools and the ability to follow a few basic steps.
1.
Start by deciding if you want your blind to fit inside or outside the recess.
2.
Next, measure the width of the window from left to right. Measure the exact width of the window frame or the area where you want the blind to hang.
3.
Now, measure the height of the window from top to bottom. Measure from the top of the window frame to the bottom or the desired length of the blind.
How to Fit Roller Blinds
Fitting roller blinds does not require tons of D.I.Y experience. If you follow these steps, you should be just fine.
1.
You will be supplied universal brackets that allow different fixing options. Hold the brackets up to where you want to mount the blinds, and mark the location of the screw holes with a pencil.
2.
Use a drill to make pilot holes for the screws, then attach the brackets securely using the screws provided.
3.
Slide the roller blind onto the brackets, making sure that it’s level and secure.
4.
Attach the child safety device to the wall at a safe height where children can’t reach it.

Unfortunately not! However, we can guarantee delivery to all of the mainland United Kingdom. Orders can be delivered to the Channel Islands but are charged per delivery weight – contact our customer services for a delivery estimate.
Our Roller Blinds are made to the requirements of the UK’s child safety regulations. As a blind with an operating loop, our roller blinds are made with the breakaway system – designed to break apart under pressure thus preventing a potential choking hazard.
If you want to fit your roller blind in a window recess (also known as a reveal) you do not have to make and deductions – simply choose Recess as your fitting option and we will manufacture it with the necessary deductions to fit in the space correctly. The overall width of a roller blind including brackets is approximately 35mm wider than the fabric.
The size of our roller blinds depend on the fabric you chose. As a guide for our Roller Blinds the Minimum width is 300mm and Maximum width is 2800mm; whilst the Minimum drop is 300mm, and Maximum drop is 3000mm. However, keep in mind that if both the width and drop are greater than 1800mm the fabric may be joined by a weld.
